Consider your typical classroom board where teachers make you understand a topic visually while teaching you verbally.
So this is a medium of an audio-visual method of education.
In this digital age, you don’t need your audience or student to be physically present rather using this method you can convey your message or information to anyone watching your videos online or offline.
While using great visuals you are adding audio material which helps in conveying your message to the viewer.
If you are looking to produce a video with actors and high production value then you will have to spend a considerable amount of money, effort and time into planning and creating a video which conveys your message
With whiteboard animation – as there’s no involvement of any actors of a production team, you are only dependent upon few factors while producing the same.
Whiteboard is ideal for everyone, specifically for :
Whiteboard animation is very useful in reaching out to your target audience, also you can reuse whiteboard animation in different languages by just changing voiceover into different languages which helps you to repurpose your content for long-term usage.
To make high-quality training videos, you need to have some hardware and software but most importantly – you need to have a vision regarding the output you are looking forward to.
If you invest 3000$ into pieces of equipment but no vision, you will have a hard time creating something of value.
I would strongly suggest you go through few online courses which are available for free on the internet to help you develop and understand your style of desired output after which you can put together pieces of hardware and software to make it into a reality.
Initially, you might face some troubles and quality issues, in that case, consult a professional who is/are engaged in producing it in a high-quality videos after which you can either outsource the work and focus on your strengths which in turn will give you much better return on investment.
I first heard about the word ‘minimalism’ when I came across ‘apple’,when my brother purchased his first Iphone, circa 2012.
What struck me was its packaging- clean, simple and elegant. You may say,the packaging itself was a piece or art- which I still have with me currently to store some accessories.
I started to learn about it while practicing & learning photography, first of all I didn’t have a lot of equipments or subjects to start off with. I used to take radom images of pen, pencil, friends, kitchen utensils and etc.
One thing I learnt while practicing was about how scarcity can also teach you to become minimal and minimalism.
It also taught me :
How to use negative space to make your subject look grand.
How using few items or resources can force you to become creative.
How minimalism can help you remove distraction.
How minimalism can teach you to focus
The same can be said about marketing and branding these days, this art mastered by Apple is now widely adapted or rather copied throughout this cut throat world of marketing and selling.
In my limited experience with branding and marketing, I have seen many company move out of their messy, clumsy 3d animations and poster to 2d and minimal style of advertisement which has helped to focus on few things rather trying to strike out a balance between 10 different elements and colors.
If you look at any poster of Apple, if you look closely enough you brain will start interpreting it on its own.
Isn’t that amazing? By just showing a poster you can entice your viewers brain into thinking about it which does help create a long term impression about the brand, doesn’t matter what you’re selling but it matters how you are projecting your products and services.Minimalism also brings along a better section of audience, not trying to offend anyone here.Minimalism isn’t for mass market products or services, where you need to show the rainbow colors and use sex(maybe?) to push your products or services.
There are notable companies which has adapted this minimal approach in their style of branding and marketing, notably :
Apple – for obvious reasons
All these companies are from different spectrum of industries but their minimalistic approach has helped them build their image.
So whats is minimalism?
Making use of minimum resources to get maximum effect.
Why you need minimalism?
So you can focus more on how to use your resources than what resources that needs to be used.
Do you need it?
Depends,if you have too many or too less resources – you might be confused on what & how to use it to get maximum output/effect.
Thank you for reading my first blog post on LinkedIn.I have been in the content creating industry for nearly 4 years after complete bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
First of, we started with Wedding Photography and slowly transitioned into Wedding Cinematography as well but I always felt we could something more, something better and then we started of QboxVisuals with an aim to provide high quality video production and post-production services for wedding and event professionals across the globe.
So why do you need audio-visuals content for your brand?
With 4G boom primarily due to Jio, India has witnessed an offset to massive consumption in data and increase in user outreach.India is projected to become the biggest consumer of data in the world overtaking USA and China within next few years which brings along new opportunities and challenges for marketing agencies and branding personnels.
You might remember, few years back blogging was the most hip thing and how we used to read blog and we used to hate blogs with images as it used to gobble up data and was too slow to load(due to dead slow internet connections). Then slowly we transitioned into more image intensive blogging platform where we used to put up cover photos to attract more readers.
Eventually from 2010 onwards after widespread(kind of) usage of youtube and other online video sharing platform, we slowly transitioned into Vlogging, remember 144p or if you were rich 360p?Those were the days of experimenting with every new aspect of video production, people started to share tutorials and so many good stuff which helped millions of people across the globe.
But Jio changed everything,literally everything!
Although it forced 3 of the major companies to the brink of bankruptcy (Aircel,Idea,Rcom.). It gave a new meaning and dimension to content creators across the country.
If you use Facebook or any other social media platform, you will see the massive transition in past 2 years.Almost all of them have moved to audio-visual advertisement, wondered why?
Because attention span has reduced and if youre looking to make an impact on the viewer you need to stimulate your audience and entice them with your services/product.Guess how?
Humans have 5 senses : Sight,Hearing,Taste,Smell and Touch.Guess which one can you virtually stimulate?
If you guessed Sight and Hearing then you’re absolutely correct. With surge of data consumption we have found a unique and easy way to put out great audio-visual content which can stimulate a viewer and entice or generate interest.
So if you were given an option of reading this article or watching a video on the same, which one would you prefer? If you said- video then you know what I am trying to convey.
Making quality audio-visual content is not only effective in creating brand awareness,it’s also economical and has long term value in terms of creating a brand value and images.
Ever wondered why Shoppers Stop always uses black and white images for their marketing and promotion? You’re right! to create a brand value and recognition.
Thank you for reading through this article,I hope you found this artcle useful.
